A couple of variables to remember; you'll always want to compare Apples to Apples, i.e.:
  1. Lock Period (Some Brokers will quote 12 or 30 day Lock, but most likely you'll need 45 if not 60 days to get to Settlement.)
  2. Ask for a quote using all 15 loan characteristics above if a REFI, and 14 if a Purchase (no Cash-Out {C/O} allowed on a Purch)
  3. APR - on the Truth-In-Lending Statement (after you've officially have applied via a Loan App.)
  4. Good Faith Est. - this will have your est. Points (if any) and closing cost (after you've officially have applied via a Loan App.)
