Greg Hughes, Owner/Broker is a member of National Association of Mortgage Brokers (id #008926) and Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers and is a good standing member of the Baltimore, MD Better Business Bureau.

After attending the University of MD (College Park) Greg took a position with IBM at its Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, MD. After eleven years working with IBM, Greg took the first “early retirement” available and received a position as the Billing Operations Manager with Atlantic Cellular Communications in Chevy Chase, MD. However this new company was quickly bought out and transferred to the Baltimore area. When asked to stay with this company and relocate, he declined so he could learn about the mortgage business with Federal Home Equity located at the time in Chevy Chase, Maryland. After a short time, Greg was one of the leading loan originators. Some time after that, he was offered the position as Senior Loan Officer for a new Mortgage company in Baltimore called Continental General Mortgage. Greg basically trained and helped run the day to day operations; in doing so, he learned the business from top to bottom, i.e., taking a Loan Application, to Processing, to Underwriting, to Settlement and finally to Post Closing. With the support of several banks and family, Greg opened AAMI in early October of 1993.
Greg has owned a home in the * Bethany Beach, DE area for the past 8 years and he will personally work with all Builders and Real-Estate Agents in the BB, OC and Rehoboth Beach areas.
